1989 Corvette coupe in nice condition!

Exterior color is officially called Charcoal Metallic - a unique color that was only offered for a couple of years. Interior is Saddle leather. The car has a couple of nice options, including an engine block heater (that I've never used!), the 3.07 performance rear axle, a heavy duty radiator, climate-control, and the low-tire pressure warning system which was a new option for 1989.

I've owned the car since 2003 and bought it here in NJ, where it has spent it's whole life according to the carfax I ran when I bought it. To help prove it, you only need look to the original dealer tag that is still on the rear bumper! When I bought the car there were 83K miles on the odometer. Now almost 5 years later, the odometer reads only 95K. Anything that needed replacing I made sure to take care of, as well as some things that didn't - such as replacing the stereo headunit with an Alpine CD player. The original Bose speakers (which were not all working when I bought the car) have been replaced with Infinity speakers. The car also has a Viper auto-start system and door lock/unlock fob - which does not act as an alarm. Both driver & passenger seats are power, and the removable targa roof is bronze tinted. Owners manual, wheel center cap key and roof removal tool are included.

Repairs, fixes, and other things I've done to the car in the last few years:

Added Sylvania Silverstars & replaced just about every other bulb too - including the one in the spare tire well!

Front & rear y-pipes, high performance catalytic converter and added exhaust tips.

Complete tune-up, trans service, new Accel fuel injectors, belt, o2 sensor, pcv valve, wires, top engine cleaned out, flush & fill radiator (and radiator pulled to remove debris), new water pump, battery, starter & alternator.

Overall, the car is in nice shape. The outer window seals are not rotting, and I replaced the inner drivers side window seal. I also replaced the rear plastic tray, which was cracked. The dash works - every once in a blue moon it does a thing where the turn signals illuminate but the dash goes dark - then within a minute, it's back to normal! There are only a couple "dress" items, such as sill protectors, horsepower tag on console, exhaust tips, and black w/ gold emblem front floor mats.

Keep in mind however, that this is a 20 year old car! There ARE signs of wear. The seat covers aren't the worst I've ever seen, but they are wearing and the drivers seat bottom has tears. The power antenna moves sometimes, and sometimes it does not. You CAN hear the motor running though.. The steering wheel is worn & has a cover on it. Everything else works - including the A/C! Currently, the car is running slightly rough at idle, and there is a minor oil leak/drip (it's been there for a year) that my mechanic said is pretty normal on these motors and that I shouldn't worry about it - but now of course I have no idea where he said it was coming from! Parts of the car appear to have been painted, but you'd have to really look to tell, and it looks great from 15 ft away :-) The front wheels look better than the rear, and the tires are probably at about 50%. Within the last month, the passenger side headlight stopped flipping all the way around - so I imagine the bushings went bad. I haven't touched the brakes since owning the car, so have no idea how much is left - but the car still stops! Passed the tough NJ inspection 1 year ago with flying colors as well.

I love the car and do not want to part with it, but I've had my fun & now it's time for someone else to enjoy it! Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.
